The hospital is a 60-bed facility. The main hospital building has three floors. The ground floor is made up of the emergency suite, consultation rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology department, dialysis suite, dental unit, and stores. There is also the medical records department and the reception area for patients and visitors. The first floor is made up of wards, main operating theatres, and the intensive care unit (ICU). The topmost floor accommodates the presidential ward, administrative units, conference room, hospital library, seminar room, and computer room. There is a functional lift servicing all the floors of the hospital, as well as a ramp linking the ground and first floors. Aside from the staircases, there is also a fire escape.

A total number of 30 consultants both full-time and visiting provide coverage across the specialties and sub-specialties. Their services include routine consultant clinics, ward rounds, and attending to emergencies in their specialties as the need arises. The scope of medical services spans 22 specialties and sub-specialties, for which consultations are clinic-day or appointment-based. However, for patients requiring complex and critical care beyond the capabilities of our facility, we refer to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba, Asaba Specialist Hospital (ASH), or even to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi.

The hospital uses an electronic medical record that is fully digitalized. The hospital has kept a standard for delivering healthcare to its clients at a level that is satisfying and beneficial to them. Patients are promptly attended to by courteous staff and given the opportunity to evaluate the hospital through systematically distributed feedback forms and clinical audits.
